Plan the pet-accessory design

For a dog-collar or pet-belt inquiry, provide the intended design, size chart and reference sample or drawings. If the project includes matching leashes or coordinated human belts, identify each item separately and ask which constructions are available.

Materials and hardware

Specify the desired strap material, width, thickness, adjustment range, buckle, rings and other hardware. Color and finish can be coordinated in a collection brief, but the actual materials and compatibility must be confirmed for each selected product.

Sample and documentation review

Agree the sample review criteria for dimensions, stitching, edges, fastening and branding. Ask for any requested product-test or material documentation relevant to the proposed SKU; have the buyer review those documents against the agreed requirements.
