How do I measure suspenders? - Suspenders size
Suspenders are measured by total length from the back attachment point over the shoulder to the front attachment point. Hongmioo manufactures custom suspenders in various widths, materials, and hardware configurations.
Suspenders Measurement Guide
Method 1: Button-to-Button Measurement
- Measure from the center back button of your pants (at waistband center) over your shoulder
- Bring the tape down to the front button position on the waistband
- Double this measurement for total suspender length
- Standard men's suspenders: 45–48 inches (114–122 cm) total
Method 2: Existing Suspender Reference
- Lay a well-fitting pair of suspenders flat
- Measure the full length from end to end (including hardware)
- Measure the width of the straps (standard: 1" or 1.5")
- Note the clip or button attachment type
